The high, steady whine of the motor forecasts the future of driving games, but the lack of dynamic background music somewhat diminishes even the game's best sound effects. The only downfall of this cart is the control. You're traveling at top speeds across tracks filled with obstacles, but unfortunately it's very difficult to control your squirrelly vehicle.
The wall and your car meet frequently on the sharp turns. If you can overcome the difficult controls, MegaRace can generate MegaFun. If you run out of ammunition before you can waste the leader, then you'll more than likely lose.
It's almost impossible to catch up to the leaders. The only other tactic to battling cars is to ram them into walls. Oh and if you're getting shot from behind, you may not know it thanks to a non-existent rear-view mirror. The only real saving point about this game is the full motion video sequences.
